Vampires had their fifteen minutes of fame, werewolves, then wizards/witches and now Zombies. They will all come back around again with moments of interjection by those other monsters who get neglected... gargoyles, sasquatch, chupacabra and on and on.

However... allow me to say: Vamps rule! The very grown up version of the ultimate bad boy -- dangerous and untamed. Of course we like them!
Zombies. Well, funny you should bring this up. As I was recently watching Zombieland I was asking the very same question, "what's the fascination?" I think it's because we can kill a zombie with no remorse, no question...everyone understands you must obliterate the zombie, no hard feelings. They are already dead, so it's not murder. It's survival at it's finest and you can laugh at them in the process because they have no feelings, no life. You can be a hero in the rawest form...all in the name of saving mankind.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4078001150863666172.post-25764734809534379212013-08-02T06:40:41.534-07:002013-08-02T06:40:41.534-07:00One of my favorite authors writes about zombies an...One of my favorite authors writes about zombies and I find it enjoyable. However, I also prefer vampires. They are scary, but in a kind of attractive way if that makes sense? I like the "Interview with the Vampire" (Brad Pitt... sigh) appearance more than more modern "teen-vampire" type movies or books. I think the reason I prefer vampires is partly because of their mythological pasts and their aura of sexuality. You make some good points about preparation for a Zombie apocalypse though, preparing for that could also help someone prepare for some kinds of natural disasters. :)Mrs. Momohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07007217260117722299noreply@blogger.com
